You can configure WhatsApp alerts to automatically send booking confirmations, reminders, and updates to the admin, host, or attendees.
Steps to Configure Alerts #
- Go to WhatsApp Alerts from the menu.
- Click Channel Templates and select Create WhatsApp Alert.
Configure Alert Settings #
- Event Type (Trigger): Choose when the alert should be sent, such as Booking Created, Updated, Cancelled, or Reminder.
- WhatsApp Channel: Select the connected WhatsApp channel from which the message will be sent.
- Template Selection: Choose an approved WhatsApp template from your channel. If needed, create a template in the Channel section first.
- Map Template Variables: Fill in the required variables such as Name, Phone Number, Email, or other booking details.
Notification Preferences #
Select who should receive the alert:
- Admin
- Host
- Attendee
- Or All
Example:
- Booking Confirmation: Send to Attendee
- New Booking Alert: Send to Admin & Host
- Reminder: Send to Attendee
Finally, click Create to activate the alert.
Once enabled, WhatsApp messages will be sent automatically whenever the selected event occurs, with booking details filled dynamically.
